     John C. Kuchera and Art Collection NYC bring you an Art Social, a free form event that brings artists and art collectors together to encourage a dialogue in the visual arts. All artists are invited to bring works to show, sell and trade. The larger impact of this event is to mash people together who seem to keep their distance in the day to day art world. As John C. Kuchera explains "It seems to me everyone is so uptight when it comes to art, I want to rip off that layer and expose the art for what it is; a moment of time and effort for each artist. I also want to shake up the art collector and offer wonderful art they might be missing.

New York City is full of wonderful and creative artists, and at the Black Door Gallery they have created a unique viewing experience. They have made it easy and relaxing to step into the Art World. Soft lighting, chairs, tables, bathrooms, a bar to purchase drinks and free snacks make it a nice place to stop in for a bit and mingle with artists of all types. 
Over 20 works of art will be on display for this showcase of contemporary art.

Artworks are for sale and range in price. They accept cash and credit.

Marina Angelina Reiter, Kristin Gambell, Harry Spitz, Ron Vestal, Sue Karnet, Hans Wolf,

Is the Happy Hour Art Show at the Black Door Gallery in New York City the new Max's Kansas City? ...Yes!

A time comes when all things converge on one another and in the art world it happens every so often. A happy hour art show in New York City is slowly becoming the place to be and to be seen, sort of a Max's Kansas City or the Cedar Tavern. John C. Kuchera, Kristin Gambell and Sara Brooks bring this to life a few times a month at the Black Door Bar on West 26 Street in New York City. Sara Brooks is the events manager for the Black Door Bar, She got in touch with John and Kristin to help develop art centric events. John and Kristin are fellow Curators and artists local to the New York City art world. John explains “ A whole lot of art and a whole lot of people and a whole lot of booze makes for a great time”. He goes on to say “ This place, this venue in the back venue space of the Black Door Bar is a wonderful space on 26 Street right in the middle of everything, sort of the center of the world, the art world. I can envision all the wonderful art that will show in this place as we do more and more happy hour art shows”. The next Happy Hour Art show is Wednesday March 9th 2016 from 6-9pm.

An interesting and alluring art venue in New York City is gaining a large following. The Black Door Gallery has started the Happy Hour Art Show. Twice a month The Black Door Bar on West 26 Street opens its private event space to host the Happy Hour Art Show. This one night art show runs from 6 to 9 pm.
